Details:

To raise awareness among Owners' Corporations (OCs) and relevant stakeholders on building fire safety and maintenance obligations, also to support Government's efforts to build community resilience post-Tai Po tragedy, the Vocational Training Council (VTC) is organizing a free talk on these subjects.

We cordially invite members of OCs, property management practitioners, building owners, and all interested parties to register for this event.

- Regulatory Framework including Obligations under relevant legislation; Fire Safety Directions; penalties for non-compliance; and requirements of the Government's Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme (MBIS);
- Fire Safety Essentials including Essential fire safety systems and their installations;
- Material Testing & Standards including Testing standards for materials and an introduction to accredited testing laboratories; and
- Property Management including management practices for building safety decision-making and incident response.
