  2. With effect from 1 January 2023, TCP(T1) paper application has been converted to electronic submissions & the tuition fee has been adjusted to HK$7,700. All paper applications submitted at $6,800 will NOT be processed.
 

 

Course Aim

This course is recognized by the Buildings Department.  For site supervisory staff who have 5-year relevant work experience but without “Technical Memorandum for Supervision Plans” qualifications, they may take up TCP- T1 duties after the completion of this course#.  For details, please refer to the “Code of Practice for Site Supervision 2009 (2021 Edition)” issued by Buildings Department.

#Note: Certificate of the course is one of the requirements to become the T1 level TCP, students must also comply with the Buildings Department the requirement of relevant work experience that may serve as TCP T1 personnel duties.

 

 

Programme Structure

Module 1   -   Construction Safety and Quality Supervision (66 hrs) + Examination (3 hrs)
Module 2   -   Construction Management (27 hrs) + Examination (2 hrs)

 

 

Award of Certificate

  1. The minimum attendance requirement for each module is 80%**, and
  2. Achieve a pass grade in both modules.

      ** Important Notes
 
1.    Learners are not allowed to sit for the examination if they failed to meet the attendance requirement.
2.    In any case, there will be no make-up classes for those with insufficient attendance rates.
3.    In case of insufficient attendance, learners will be required to re-apply for the course/ module and pay the relevant tuition fee.

Medium of Instruction (MoI)

The medium of instruction is Chinese and supplemented with English terminologies. All teaching materials and written assessments are in Chinese.

 

 

Schedule

  •  2 to 3 nights per week
  • 18:30-21:30 or 19:00-22:00
  • Total duration: 98 hrs. (The whole programme can be completed in 6 - 8 months.)
  • Venue: mainly at Kowloon Technical School or IVE (Kwai Chung)
  • In special circumstances, the class(es) may be conducted in another campus(es) /online mode.

 

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have five years of experience in construction supervision resident

With effect from 1 January 2023, TCP(T1) paper applications will all be converted to electronic submissions. All paper application forms received on or after 1 January 2023 will not be processed (based on the postmark date).

â¦Â Applicants who fulfil the entry requirements will receive a payment notice later. Applications are not required to pay the tuition at this moment.
