Programme Description
The programme aims to provide specific training in aviation operations for aviation industry, and to cultivate learner's skill and ability to review and analyse operational and technical aspects of aviation industry.

Frequency and Duration
- 1 to 2 evenings per week.
- Duration: 250 hrs. The whole programme can be completed in 12 to 15 months.
Assessments
Students' performance in each module is assessed by continuous assignments and/or a final examination. Assessments and examination are conducted in English.
Awards
1. On successful completion of the programme and satisfying the assessment requirements, students will be awarded a ‘Professional Diploma in Aviation Operations’.
2. Satisfactory completion of the five modules below will lead to a ‘ Professional Certificate in Airport Ground Operations ’

Financial Assistance Scheme
Vplus Engineering
This programme has been included in the list of reimbursable courses under the Vplus Engineering. Successful applicants will be refunded 60% of the tuition fees of eligible programmes.

Articulation
The programme serves as a continuity of Professional Diploma in Aviation Operations. Learners who have completed the two programmes (Professional Diploma in Aviation Operations and Professional Diploma in Aviation Management) can apply for a top-up degree programme of Applied Science (Aviation) offered by RMIT University in collaboration with SHAPE of VTC for further articulation, subject to relevant admission requirements.
