Professional Certificate in Community Pharmacy Practice
- conduct professional work based on the legal and ethical requirements in accordance with the pharmaceutical health care practice;
- carry out patient/client’s care tasks by evaluating clients’ conditions in community settings based on the established code of practice;
- provide appropriate patient/client counselling and suggest suitable advice on lifestyles, drugs and health products in community pharmacy settings; and
- carry out administrative and distributive tasks in the management and operation of the community pharmacy.
Entry Requirements
- Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent with at least 1 year relevant work experience; or
- Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent with at least 1 year relevant work experience; or
- Completion of a QF Level 3 programme (e.g. Diploma of Foundation Studies) that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board with at least 1 year relevant work experience.
