    Programme Details
    On completion of the module, learners are expected to be able to: 
    1. Demonstrate proficiency in developing applications tailored explicitly for smart devices on specific platforms; 
    2. Employ innovative design and development practices to create functional and user-friendly applications; 
    3. Analyse user needs and technological capabilities. Effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the development process, ensure a smooth user experience; and 
    4. Apply their skills professionally, keep abreast of current industry trends and standards and contribute to advancing smart device technology applications. 

    Course Content

    1. Introduction to Scripting Language (24 hours)
    2. User Experience Enhancement for Smart Devices Applications (18 hours)
    3. Smart Device Applications Development (30 hours)
     
    The content is suitable for the learners who do not have much programming experience.

    The normal duration for completion of the programme is around 2 months.

    Entry Requirements

    Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board; or
    Other relevant verifiable prior learning and/or work experience that is/are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board; or

    Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.

    Financial Assistance Scheme

    Vplus Creative Industries
     
    As a part of the Vplus Subsidy Scheme, Vplus Creative Industries is supported by the HKSAR Government to encourage working adults to pursue higher qualifications for career advancement and to promote lifelong learning. 
     
    Successful applicants can be reimbursed 60% of the tuition fees paid for the programme, maximum HK$36,000 per person. Applicants may apply for reimbursement for more than one eligible programmes.

    Tuition fee after funding: $7,312
