Building Information Modelling for BIM Coordinator

This is a module of the BIM coordinator course accredited by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) since 26 May 2021.  Student who completed this module have met the following requirement for Certified Building Information Modeling Coordinator (CCBC):

Learning Contents

CON4185X - Building Information Modelling for BIM Coordinator (45 hrs)

 

Assessment

Students' performance is assessed by Continuous Assessment (CA) and End-of-Module Assessment (EA). Assessments are conducted in English.

 

Schedule

- 1 nights per week, 18:30 - 21:30 / 19:00 - 22:00

- Duration: 45 hrs. 

 

Award

- Certificate in Building Information Modelling (Building Works)(Building Information Modelling for BIM Coordinator Module) will be conferred to students upon their satisfactory completion of this module.

 

Entry Requirement:

- Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent with one-year work experience; or

- Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent with two-year work experience; or

- Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the Construction Programme Board with one-year work experience; or

- Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or

- 21 years old or above with 2 years relevant working experience, may be admitted subject to passing an interview and / or aptitude test, if necessary
