The programme objectives of Certificate in ESG and Sustainability are to:

(1) provide learners with the knowledge on ESG and Sustainability with consideration on the risks and opportunities

(2) to equip equip learners with the technical skills of carbon auditing; and

(3) to develop learners’ ability to master the data analytics skills for ESG and Sustainability reporting

On completion of Certificate in ESG and Sustainability, learners will be able to:

(a) Describe the impact and importance of ESG (PILO1);

(b) Implement carbon audit processes for ESG reporting (PILO2)

(c) Apply data analytics techniques to facilitate ESG reporting (PILO3)

Hourly breakdown of contents:

- ESG and Carbon Neutrality (24 hours)

- Sustainability and ESG Data Analytics (36 hours)

Assessment items and their weightings:

- Continuous Assessment 50% (Assignment, Case Studies/Presentation)

- End of Module Assessment 50% (Assignment, Case Studies/Presentation)
