Programme Aim (只提供英文版本)

This programme aims to enhance learners' knowledge on Mathematics so as to be more effective for further study. Besides, this programme serves as a bridging course of "BEng (Hons) Electronic and Computer Engineering", which is offered by the University of the West of England, Bristol.

Programme Outline (只提供英文版本)

Complex Number

- Cartesian form and polar form

- Exponential form

- Signal representations

- Spectrum analysis

Fourier Transform

- Fourier series

- Digital Fourier transformation

- Frequency domain analysis

- Signal processing applications

Laplace Transform

- Introduction of Laplace transform

- Inverse transform, and tables of inverse transforms

- Transform using partial fractions

- Use of the Laplace transform to solve electrical system problems

z Transform

- Expression of digital signal

- Inverse transformation

- Poles and zeros

- Transfer functions

- Low pass and high pass filter applications

評核

- 學員於各單元的表現均透過「持續評核」及「期末評核」兩種型式測試。

- 出席率要求為 70%。

上課模式

- 每星期上課 1 晚，一般上課時間為19:00 - 21:00 或 19:00 - 22:00。

- 一般課堂會以面授形式進行，但於特別情況下課堂或需以網上模式進行。

- 課程時數為 26 小時。
