This foundational course is tailored to equip participants with an understanding of cybersecurity principles in public sector. It aims to familiarize participants with government IT security policies and guidelines while introducing the domains of information security, referenced from the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) curriculum. A handson approach will be provided for participants to gain technical knowledge. Interactive activities such as laboratory and site visits will be also included.
On completion of the Certificate in Cybersecurity for the Public Sector (Foundation Level), learners are expected to be able to:
- Explain key information security concepts, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Develop and implement security, privacy and risk management strategies.
- Identify and defend against common cyberattacks and threats.
- Comply with government IT security requirements.

入學條件
完成中六; 或
完成獲「課程委員會」認可的「資歷架構」第2級別之相關證書課程; 或
持有過往認可資歴架構下第二級或以上的相關資歴; 或
持有「課程委員會」認可及可核證之過往學習及 / 或工作經驗; 或
年滿二十一歲或以上。如有需要，申請人須通過面試或筆試.
課程進修資助計劃
Vplus創意專才
Vplus創意專才由香港特別行政區政府撥款推行，涵蓋於Vplus專才進修資助之內，旨在推廣終身學習，鼓勵在職人士持續進修，爭取更高學歷，發展事業。
參加者必須於課程開始日期起 30 天內自行申請計劃。獲批資助的申請人可獲退已繳付之學費的60%，上限為每人36,000港元。在計劃下，申請人可申請退還多於一個合資格課程的學費。
原定學費：$4,620
資助後學費：$1,848^
^ 為符合資助資格，參加者必須先獲錄取並繳付全額課程費用（港幣 4,620 元），然後再申請資助。
