護理人員醫藥基礎知識證書

The programme objectives of this programme are attained through a well-designed curriculum structure, appropriate learning and teaching strategies, comprehensive learning and teaching materials, valid and reliable assessment methods, and a variety of guided learning activities.
On completion of the programme, learners will be able to describe the basic care to individuals according to the prescribed treatment strategies of the professionals.

Venue: Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwai Chung) or Approved Designated Venue

Hourly breakdown of contents:

- Basic Knowledge of Drug Usage for Health Care Personnel (18 hours)

Assessment items and their weightings:

- Continuous Assessment 50% (Assignment, Quizzes & Exercises / Report & Logbook), End of Module Assessment 50% (Project/Case Studies/Presentation)

Completion Requirements:

(1) Must be at least 50% or such higher overall passing mark or grade

(2) Must be at least 70% of the total contact hours of the course.
