入学条件

- Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English Language and Chinese Language, or equivalent, with at least 1 year’s relevant working experience; OR

- 5 passes in the HKCEE (including English Language – Grade E/ Level 2) or equivalent, with at least 1 year’s relevant working experience; OR

- Mature applicants at the age of 21 or above by the commence day of the targeted round of programme offering, with at least 1 year’s relevant working experience.

Applicants with award(s) in relevant stream(s) will be considered case-by-case. Individual module exemption may be granted subject to THEi’s Academic Policies and Regulations.

Approximately 6 months for the Professional Certificate (PCHA).

Tuition Fee and Caution Money

This programme is a recognised programme under the Urban Forestry Support Fund – Study Sponsorship Scheme. Under this scheme, eligible and successful applicants shall be entitled to be granted 70% of the payable tuition fee or HK$35,000, whichever is less.

Remarks:

1. The applicant should apply for Study Sponsorship Scheme and submit the necessary documents through the institution within one month after the commencement date of the programme.
2. To be eligible for study sponsorship, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:
   1. Being a Hong Kong resident, i.e. a person who have the right of abode or the right to land or to remain in Hong Kong without restriction, or a holder of one-way permit from mainland China;
   2. Has successfully enrolled in the recognised programme (PDHALM or PCHA);
   3. Has not been granted any subsidy and will not receive any other subsidy or financial assistance from any other existing Government subsidy schemes (e.g. the Continuing Education Fund) or any other financial support (e.g. from employers) for the same programmes;
   4. Has passed the end-of-programme examination or satisfactorily completed the recognised programme.
3. Reimbursement will be made upon the completion of the programme

*HK$400 will be collected as the caution money and will be used to offset the graduation fee regardless of whether the student choose to attend the Graduation Ceremony or not. In case the student discontinues his/her studies or is not able to graduate from the programme, the caution money will be refunded to the student, provided there are no outstanding dues.

 

Class will run subject to sufficient enrolments.  In the unlikely instance where a class has to be cancelled, cheques received for payment of tuition fee and caution money will be returned to applicants.
