    Programme Details
    Programme Aim
    To provide additional workshop training on 11 kV switchboard and its ancillary equipment for the students of Professional Diploma in Power Engineering and/or Professional Certificate in High Voltage Enginineering and suitable for those are studying module EEE4003X - Practices of Inspection, Testing and Commissioning on High Voltage Switchboard and its Ancillary Equipment.
     
     
    Course Outline
    Practical Training for 11 kV Switchboard and its Ancillary Equipment, for example:
    - Mechanical Functional Checks
    - Site Tests on Current Transformers
    - Site Tests on the 11 kV Switchboard
    - Site Tests on the 11kV/380V Power Transformer
    - Site Tests on the 11 kV Cable Terminations
    - Site Tests on battery charger and battery cells, and LV switchboard
    - Fault finding techniques on High-voltage Equipment
     
     
    Schedule
    - Time: 18:45 - 21:45 (weekday night) and/or 12:00 - 18:00 (for Sat/Sun)
    - Duration: 12 hrs (4 lessons, 3 hrs per lesson).
    Entry Requirements

    - The students of Professional Diploma in Power Engineering (Programme Code: EG424410P); or
    - The students of Professional Certificate in High Voltage Engineering (Programme Code: EG424408P).
