This programme aims to produce versatile, industry-ready IT professionals.  It combines cutting-edge software engineering, cloud DevOps, and secure enterprise networking into a single integrated curriculum. You will learn to design, build, and manage robust, scalable systems using modern methodologies, tools, and frameworks. It also emphasis on cybersecurity, ensuring you can deliver secure solutions.  This programme equips you with both the high-level technical expertise and the essential communication, teamwork, and adaptive learning skills required for a successful and sustainable career at the forefront of technology. 

 

Course Content

The curriculum covers the entire software development lifecycle, from object-oriented programming, database operations, and systems analysis to the design and implementation of web and cloud-based applications.  Concurrently, network engineering, progressing from foundational concepts to advanced routing, switching, and wide area network technologies are included. The programme integrates modern software engineering principles with DevOps practices and cloud services, emphasizing the use of industry-standard tools and security-conscious development to build scalable, secure, and high-performance IT solutions.

Date: 13 April 2026 to mid-July 2027 (mostly Mon, Wed, Fri)
Time: 19:00 - 22:00
The normal duration for completion of the programme is around 16 months.
Entry Requirements

Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, plus at least one year of relevant work experience; or
Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board plus at least one year of relevant work experience; or
Other relevant verifiable prior learning and/or work experience that is/are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board; or

Applicants who are aged 21 or above on 1 September of the year of application and do not meet the minimum entrance requirements may apply through the mature applicant route. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.

Vplus Creative Industries
 
As a part of the Vplus Subsidy Scheme, Vplus Creative Industries is supported by the HKSAR Government to encourage working adults to pursue higher qualifications for career advancement and to promote lifelong learning. 
 
Successful applicants can be reimbursed 60% of the tuition fees paid for the programme, maximum HK$36,000 per person. Applicants may apply for reimbursement for more than one eligible programmes. 
 
Original tuition fee: $67,200
Tuition fee after funding: $31,200
