Equips students with knowledge and skills required for Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Information Security Manager examinations.

 

On completion of the programme, learners will be able to:

  • To extend learners of graduate in information security management and auditing to enhance information security in organization.
  • To develop learners to be competent in providing an in-depth and practical framework in information security governance and risk management.

 

The professional certificate programme offers the following modules:

  • Preparation for Certified Information Systems Security Professional Examination (36hrs)
  • Preparation for Certified Information Systems Auditor Examination (30hrs)
  • Preparation for Certified Information Security Manager Examination (24hrs)

 

*This course focuses solely on providing preparation training for the CISSP, CISA, and CISM exams. Please note that the course fee does not cover the examination fee, registration, or endorsement

(19:00-22:00)

CISSP: 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19 Dec 2024 & 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 Jan 2025

CISM: 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 Feb 2025 & 4, 6 Mar 2025

CISA: 18, 20, 25, 27 Mar 2025 & 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17 Apr 2025

  • 1 to 2 nights per week (Tue & Thu)
  • In special circumstances, some lessons may be conducted in online mode
  • Duration: 90hrs. The normal duration for completion of the programme is around 4 months

 


Entry Requirements

Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, plus at least one year of relevant work experience; or
Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, plus at least two years of relevant work experience; or
Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board plus at least one year of relevant work experience; or
Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above plus at least one year of relevant work experience AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or
At least two years of relevant work experience plus other relevant verifiable prior learning that are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or
21 years old or above with at least two years’ relevant working experience, may be admitted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.


Financial Assistance Scheme

Vplus Creative Industries

As a part of the Vplus Subsidy Scheme, Vplus Creative Industries is supported by the HKSAR Government to encourage working adults to pursue higher qualifications for career advancement and to promote lifelong learning. 

 

Successful applicants can be reimbursed 60% of the tuition fees paid for the programme, maximum HK$36,000 per person. Applicants may apply for reimbursement for more than one eligible programmes. 

 

Original tuition fee: $22,500

Tuition fee after funding: $9,000
