On completion of the Programme, learners will be able to:
(a) develop a project plan that outlines the scope, timelines, and resources required to complete an IT project;
(b) manage project budgets effectively by creating a budget plan, tracking expenses, and adjusting as necessary; and
(c) monitor project execution, including tracking progress against the project plan, identifying deviations, and taking corrective action as necessary.
The professional Diploma programme offers the following modules:
IT524121Q - IT Project Quality Assurance Essentials (20 hrs)
IT524122Q - Essential Tools and Techniques for Project Management (32 hrs)
IT524123Q - Agile Project Management (32 hrs)
Schedule
- 1 to 2 nights per week.
- In special circumstances, some lessons may be conducted in online mode.
- Duration: 84hrs. The normal duration for completion of the programme is around 8 months.
Entry Requirements
Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, plus at least one year of relevant work experience; or
Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English Language and Chinese Language or equivalent with 2 years relevant working experience; or
Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board plus at least one year of relevant work experience; or
Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above plus at least one year of relevant work experience AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or
At least two years of relevant work experience plus other relevant verifiable prior learning that are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or
Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above, with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience AND a pass in the entrance assessment

Vplus Creative Industries
As a part of the Vplus Subsidy Scheme, Vplus Creative Industries is supported by the HKSAR Government to encourage working adults to pursue higher qualifications for career advancement and to promote lifelong learning.
Successful applicants can be reimbursed 60% of the tuition fees paid for the programme, maximum HK$36,000 per person. Applicants may apply for reimbursement for more than one eligible programmes.
