Introduction to Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance

Objectives

This course provides participants knowledge on:
- the requirement of Building Energy Efficiency Ordinance (BEEO)
- the concept of Building Energy Code (BEC) and Energy Audit Code (EAC)
- implementation of Building Energy Code (BEC) and Energy Audit Code (EAC)


Intended Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to:
- identify what types of projects are covered by the Ordinance;
- understand the technical aspects of the Building Energy Code (BEC) and Energy Audit Code (EAC); and
- monitor the procedures of the COCR, FOC and Energy Audit Report submission.

Award

- Course participant who has satistfied the 70% attendance requirement only is entitled to a Certificate of Attendance
