Cybersecurity and Cyber Self-defense
Suitable for non-IT specialist
On completion of the module, learners are expected to be able to :
1. understand essential cybersecurity principles and develop an ability to apply them in general working environment;
2. evaluate different types of cyber-attacks on individuals and organization, together with their impacts and how to mitigate them;
3. apply security measures to protect systems, servers, network infrastructure and end devices.

22 & 29 July, 2023 (Saturdays) - 9am-12nn, 1:30-4:30pm
Course duration: 12 hours

Entry Requirements
Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above including English Language and Chinese Language, or equivalent
Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above, with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience AND a pass in the entrance assessment
An interview and / or aptitude test may be required
All places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Incomplete forms and forms received without payment will be regarded as unsuccessful applications.
Deadline for Application: 7 working days (Exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays) prior to class commencement date in general.
Notification of Class Commencement: Successful applicants will be notified of the class information by the contact method specified on the enrolment form at least 3 working days before class commencement. Please contact us if you do not receive the notification before the class commencement (Tel.: 2595-2545).
Course Fees/Receipt: Course fees paid are also non-refundable, except for cases of unsuccessful applications and course cancellation or rescheduling. Fees paid and places enrolled are also not transferable, and request for course swapping will not be entertained.
