This course aims to equip participants with a solid foundational understanding of Generative AI, including the principles of machine learning that underpin generative models and the skills needed to implement these models in simple applications.
Course Objectives:
- Introduction to AI and Generative AI: Definitions, history, and evolution of AI, focusing on the emergence and significance of generative models.
- Basic Concepts in Machine Learning: Overview of algorithms, model types, and the distinction between generative and discriminative models.
- Fundamentals of Neural Networks: Layers, activation functions, backpropagation, and their roles in generative models.
- Introduction to Python for AI: Basic programming in Python, focusing on libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib essential for AI.
- Ethical Implications and Responsibilities: Understanding the ethical considerations in deploying generative AI technologies.
