This programme aims to equip learners with basic knowledge and skill so as to facilitate them to develop nature wellness awareness and inspiring participants through workshop coaching activity. It also seeks to equip learners with techniques to be a successful coach in nature wellness workshop.
The programme objectives of Certificate in Nature Wellness are to:
1) Connect participants with nature and inspire their awareness of wellness; and
2) Be a successful coach of nature wellness workshop.
Programme Intended Learning Outcomes
On completion of the programme, learners will be able to:
(a) plan a nature wellness workshop for participants of different age groups and backgrounds based on the related theory and skills.
(b) deliver a workshop about personal wellness through connecting with the nature; and;
(c) concern the ethics and safety in workshop delivery.
Module 1: Introduction to Nature Wellness
Duration: 36 hours
Module 2: Nature Wellness in Practice
Duration: 30 hours

Transportation Arrangement for Module 2 Nature Wellness in Practice:
On days when classes are held at non-VTC venues, a one-way coach service will be provided to transport participants from nearby public transport points to the activity site entrance.
Entry Requirements
(1) Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, plus at least one year of relevant work experience, or equivalent; or
(2) Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/ Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, plus at least two years of relevant work experience, or equivalent; or
(3) Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board plus at least one year of relevant work experience; or
(4) Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above plus at least one year of relevant work experience AND a pass in an oral entrance assessment.
(5) At least two years of relevant work experience plus other relevant verifiable prior learning that are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board AND a pass in an oral entrance assessment.
Financial Assistance Scheme
Vplus Subsidy Scheme
This course is an eligible programme under “Vplus Subsidy Scheme – Vplus Health and Life Sciences”. Under this scheme, successful applicants will be refunded 60% of the paid tuition fees of eligible programmes, subject to a maximum of $36,000 per person.
