This module is designed to introduce and strengthen an understanding of agile project management applied in IT Projects, a highly effective project management approach in today's fast-paced business environment. Initially, it focuses on using basic agile concepts within the project economy, providing students with a solid foundation. The module then analyses how modern businesses utilise agile project management strategies, offering real-world examples and case studies. A critical aspect of this module is identifying the key success factors that make agile project management methodologies effective. Finally, the module culminates in equipping students with the skills to formulate their own practical agile project management approaches, encouraging innovation and strategic thinking.
Trainees can take the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) examination once they complete this module. Please note that the course fee does not cover the examination fee, registration, or endorsement.

Entry Requirements
Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, plus at least one year of relevant work experience; or
Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, plus at least two years of relevant work experience; or
Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board with at least 1 year relevant working experience; or
Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above plus at least one year of relevant work experience AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or
At least two years of relevant work experience plus other relevant verifiable prior learning that are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or
Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above, with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience AND a pass in the entrance assessment
