Certificate in Computer Systems Fundamentals

This course will equip learners with a comprehensive operating systems and computer networks foundation.  The course intends to foster a solid understanding of the basic concepts involved in these areas.  Additionally, the course aims to provide learners with the practical skills required to conduct basic configuration and system management tasks in computer systems.  By the end of the course, learners will be able to comprehend the theoretical aspects of operating systems and networks and apply this knowledge in a practical, hands-on context.  This blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills will prepare learners for various roles in the IT industry.

The content includes the fundamentals of the operations of Linus-based Operating Systems, the computer network and essential cybersecurity.  The programme is also the introfuction level for any IT institute’s IT-related in-service training programmes.

Schedule

- Every Saturday.

- In special circumstances, some lessons may be conducted in online mode.

- Duration: 18hrs. The normal duration for completion of the programme is around 3 months.
