Certificate in Cloud Computing

The course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the domain of cloud computing, its unique features, and the spectrum of services offered within a cloud infrastructure.  The course is designed to foster an in 0depth understanding of various cloud computing services and the ability to identify the most suitable ones to construct a basic cloud infrastructure.  The course will equip learners with the knowledge to delineate the attributes of cloud computing, allowing them to make informed decisions in selecting and applying them to make informed decisions in selecting and applying cloud services.  This synthesis of theoretical knowledge and practical application is intended to prepare learners to navigate and utilize the dynamic realm of cloud computing effectively.

The course is covered with the basic knowledge of the data centre and the essential cloud computing services, including elastic computing, object storage, database, network and security.

On completion of the programme, learners will be able to:

- describe the features of cloud computing and cloud computing services in cloud infrastructure; and

- identify suitable cloud computing services to build a basic cloud computing infrastructure.
