Aviation Finance

Overview of the Aviation Finance (30 contact hours / 15 credits)

Module Intended Learning Outcomes:

On completion of the module, learners are expected to be able to:

1. identify the fundamental features of the aircraft asset classes;
2. appreciate the aircraft trading models and aircraft leasing approaches;
3. comprehend the secondary market of an aircraft and aircraft financing mechanism; and
4. discuss aircraft leasing transactions.

Learners will receive a "Certificate in Aircraft Leasing and Aviation Finance (Aviation Finance Module)" after successfully completion of this module. With successful completion of the FIRST and ANY TWO of the remaining Modules, learners will be awarded a Professional Certificate. Upon successful completion of all FIVE Modules, learners will be awarded a Professional Diploma.
