Aviation Finance
Overview of the Aviation Finance (30 contact hours / 15 credits)
Module Intended Learning Outcomes:
On completion of the module, learners are expected to be able to:
- identify the fundamental features of the aircraft asset classes;
- appreciate the aircraft trading models and aircraft leasing approaches;
- comprehend the secondary market of an aircraft and aircraft financing mechanism; and
- discuss aircraft leasing transactions.

Learners will receive a "Certificate in Aircraft Leasing and Aviation Finance (Aviation Finance Module)" after successfully completion of this module. With successful completion of the FIRST and ANY TWO of the remaining Modules, learners will be awarded a Professional Certificate. Upon successful completion of all FIVE Modules, learners will be awarded a Professional Diploma.

Entry Requirements
Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English Language and Chinese Language, or equivalent
Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above AND a pass in the entrance assessment
Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above including English Language and Chinese Language, or equivalent
Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience
Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board with at least 1 year relevant working experience
Other relevant verifiable prior learning and / or working experience that is/are deemed appropriate by the Discipline and a pass in an interview
HKCEE English Language taken in 2006 or before should be at Grade E or above (Syllabus B) / Grade C or above (Syllabus A)
