Electric Vehicle Charging Facility Technologies Training Course
Programme Aim
Hong Kong is committed to achieving Carbon Neutrality. In March 2021, the government released the first "Hong Kong Electric Vehicle (EV) Roadmap", which emphasizes the need to significantly increase EV charging infrastructure to meet the demands of EV development. The government aims to enhance EV charging facilities to 200,000 by 2027. The demand for professionals in the EV charging infrastructure market has also seen a significant rise.
To support industry growth, the "IVE Engineering Discipline", "Cornerstone Electric Vehicle Charging Services Limited" and "SGS Hong Kong Limited" have collaborated to launch technical training courses and certification programs for EV charging facility technicians. These programs aim to enhance the knowledge of electromechanical professionals regarding EV charging infrastructure and provide training opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a career in this field.
Upon completion of the course, participants can also consider obtaining certification** from SGS Hong Kong Limited to gain third-party recognition and elevate their expertise in the EV charging infrastructure domain.
