Programme Objectives
1. Introduce participant to the basic concept and principal in financial planning
2. Provide participant with knowledge in investment and financial planning
3. Strengthen participants’ skills in managing the financial plan to client
4. Enhance participants’ awareness on ethical issues and professional image
Programme Intended Learning Outcomes
On completion of the programme, learners will be able to:
(a) Comprehend the basic knowledge and skills of financial planning
(b) Implement appropriate financial planning strategies for different type of client
(c) Communciate effectively with different professionals and client for financial planning
Entry Requirements
Completion of a QF Level 2 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board
Other relevant verifiable prior learning and/or work experience that is/are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board; or
Completion of S5 under the Old Academic Structure / S6 under the New Senior Secondary Academic Structure
Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 2 or above and a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written
