Course Objective
To review the content of tree risk assessment reports in accordance with the relevant guidelines and requirements for tree inspection or risk assessment.

Course Content
- Knowledge of tree biology, plant physiology, tree mechanics, defects in tree structure, tree health, pests and diseases of plants, mitigation measures
- Analyse the information collected from the on-site assessment to identify the risk factors and determine the degree of risk
- Review the methods and working procedures for tree inspection or risk assessment adopted in the reports
- Assess the suitability of the risk mitigation measures implemented and the abnormalities in the report content

Entry Requirements
Registered Arborists under the Registration Scheme for Tree Management Personnel (RSTMP) are enrolled with preference. Other Registered tree management personnel under the RSTMP are also welcome.
Remarks
Registered Arborists under the Registration Scheme for Tree Management Personnel (RSTMP) are the target participants of the Course and quota are reserved for registered personnel first. Upload the registration document proof and provide the registration number in the application form.
Registered Arborists under the Registration Scheme for Tree Management Personnel (RSTMP) can apply for CEA hours under the key job function covered by the Course after completion, while other Registered tree management personnel under the RSTMP may participate for optional CEA hours.
