Objective

This course is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the principles, techniques, and requirements for conducting internal audits in inspection bodies. It offers a comprehensive review of the accreditation criteria under ISO/IEC 17020:2026, HKAS002, HKIAS003, and relevant HKAS/HKIAS supplementary criteria, equipping participants with practical skills to plan, execute, report, and follow up on internal audits effectively.

  • Techniques for collecting and verifying information
• Reporting & Nonconformity Handling
  • Documenting audit findings
  • Classifying audit findings as nonconformities (NC) or recommendations for improvement
• Corrective Actions & Continuous Improvement
  • Root cause analysis
  • Identifying appropriate corrective actions
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of internal audits

Award

• There is an assessment in form of written examination at the end of the course.
• Certificate of Achievement will be conferred to course participant who passed the assessment and satisfied the attendance requirement of 70%
