Objectives
 
This course provides participants knowledge on:
- the requirement of Building Energy Efficiency Ordinance (BEEO) 
- the concept of Building Energy Code (BEC) and Energy Audit Code (EAC) 
- implementation of Building Energy Code (BEC) and Energy Audit Code (EAC) 
 
 
Intended Learning Outcomes
 
Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to:
- identify what types of projects are covered by the Ordinance; 
- understand the technical aspects of the Building Energy Code (BEC) and Energy Audit Code (EAC); and 
- monitor the procedures of the COCR, FOC and Energy Audit Report submission.

- History of Building Energy Efficiency
- Introduction to Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance (BEEO) 
- Preparation of Certificate of Compliance Registration (COCR) 
- Preparation of Form of Compliance (FOC) 
- Preparation of Building Energy Audit (BEA) 
- Technical Compliance with the Ordinance in Building Energy Code (BEC) 
- Energy Efficiency Requirements for Lighting Installations 
- Energy Efficiency Requirements for Air Conditioning Installations 
- Energy Efficiency Requirements for Electrical Installations 
- Energy Efficiency Requirements for Lift and Escalator Installations 
- Performance-based Approach 
- Energy Audit Code (EAC) 
- Preparation of Energy Audit Report 
- Case Sharing for the projects covered by the Ordinance 
 
 
Award
 
- Course participant who has satistfied the 70% attendance requirement only is entitled to a Certificate of Attendance 
 
 
Class Schedule 
 
- 7 sessions (19:00 – 21:30)，Total: 18 hours
