Business Skills Series (eCPD) Module 3: Leadership Skills for the Financial Professionals– eCPD course (Chinese Version)

Programme Information

The course will cover various business skills relevant to financial professionals. It will be accompanied by appropriate cases to illustrate the practical application of these skills. Participants will be able to enhance their professional performance in handling daily operations and negotiating with clients, thereby strengthening their personal business development capabilities.

Part 1 An Overview of the Current Financial Services Industry in Hong Kong

• Understand the current talent challenges and trends in Hong Kong's financial services industry
• Understand the changes in the business model of Hong Kong’s financial services industry from the “Development Roadmap for the Insurance Sector in Hong Kong”

Part 2 Core Leadership Competencies for the Future

• Recognize the difference between technical competencies and core competencies
• Understand the core leadership competencies required for the future, recognizing their importance, and learning how to demonstrate or cultivate these competencies in a team

Part 3 Establish and Cultivating High-Performance Teams

• Understand the characteristic of high-performance teams and the basic elements of effective teamwork
• Understand the challenges of teamwork and the psychological well-being factors that need to be considered in the era of the "new normal”
• Recognize the management framework of hybrid work models
• Understand goal setting and its operational process
• Understand the principles of successful leaders

*For new students to activate the eCPD training account, they have to register on this website and complete the identity verification. They can apply for online courses after the account is confirmed.

*Students will receive a confirmation email within 5 working days after successful enrolment (exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays).

*Students should complete the eCPD programme before the course expiry date specified on the confirmation email. (i.e. generally within 3 months)

* Student must complete all parts of the course and pass relevant assessment(s) in order to obtain the e-Certificate of attainment issued by the Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) and earn specific CPD hours of the course.

*For E-learning CPD activities: Individual licensees can only earn CPD hours by taking the E-learning CPD activity once during the same Assessment Period. If an individual licensee repeats the same E-learning CPD activity in the same Assessment Period, the repeat one will not be counted.
