Basic Food Hygiene Certificate for Hygiene Managers (Bridging Course)
This course aims to familiarise students with knowledge pertaining to food hygiene and safety to enable them to take up the post of Hygiene Manager in catering establishments. This course is recognised by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to meet the requirements for the position of Hygiene Manager.
The course covers: Hygiene Practices and Proper Food Handling;Food Hygiene Management;Environmental Hygiene, Cleaning and Sanitation;Pest Management;Hong Kong Food Regulations;Principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Entry Requirements
Applicants should be in-service practitioners of the catering industry and holding a valid Certificate for Hygiene Supervisors
