Programme Structure
A - General Principles of surveying (3 hrs)
B - Use of surveying instruments (9 hrs)
C - Cartographic detailing and generation of surveying plan (6 hrs)
Assessment
Students' performance in each module is assessed by Continuous Assessment (CA) and End-of-Module Assessment (EA). Assessments are conducted in English.

This certificate is one of the bridging programmes for articulation to the top-up degree programme of Construction Management offered in Hong Kong by Coventry University, U.K., in collaboration with SHAPE/VTC.
Entry Requirements
Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above, with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience AND a pass in the entrance assessment
Completion of a QF Level 2 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board with relevant working experience
Completion of S5 under the Old Academic Structure / S6 under the New Senior Secondary Academic Structure with relevant working experience

Vplus Subsidy Scheme
This course is an eligible programme under “Vplus Subsidy Scheme – Vplus Engineering”. Under this scheme, successful applicants will be refunded 60% of the paid tuition fees of eligible programmes, subject to a maximum of $45,000 per person.
